The name JBS stands for Jens Bjerg Soerensen. He was the man, who in 1939 created the brand and since then marketed it so well, that it was become the #1 underwear brand for men in Denmark.
Jens Bjerg Soerensen was in many ways ahead of his time and had an incredible sense for marketing and sponsoring. For example, who doesn't remember the JBS trunks from the famous 6-day race in Herning in the 70's, the many legendary boxing tournaments, professional soccer in Ikast and last but not least FC Midtjylland and Herning Blue Fox?
